“The Universe is ever-expanding, not only physically but in consciousness and depth of being.  I invite you all to reach into the depths of being and touch the infinite”
Robert Peterson

Not too long ago, people who have had an “Out of Body Experience” (OBE) were often reluctant to share with family, friends and colleagues, lest they be considered crazy or possessed.  Now, however, as sharing the paranormal has become more accepted, there is a large body of testimonials from people of all religions, cultures and walks of life who have experienced at some stage being separate from their bodies.

This is most prevalent in accounts from people who have had “Near Death Experiences” (NDE’s).  People who have undergone major surgery or have had serious life-threatening accidents or illnesses and have clinically died as a result,  are often revived by the paramedics and doctors and report having been out of their bodies.  Not only are these accident victims fully conscious and aware of the events that have occurred to them during their crisis, they often are “super aware” and can see,  hear and know of things that are happening in other parts of the hospital or even other parts of the world.  (more on NDE’s in a later post)

The good news is that you don’t actually have to die or be close to death in order to have an “Out of Body Experience”; with a little  knowledge and instruction you can actually train yourself to have one.  Robert Peterson has written a wonderful no-nonsense book entitled “Out of Body Experiences – How to Have Them and What to Expect”.  The book chronicles Robert’s 30+ years of experiences and accounts his adventures elsewhere and the learnings that he gained along the way.  The book is not just a record of his experiences, as it is filled with exercises, advice and instruction on how you can induce your very own “Out of Body” state.
